Last season pushed the Subaru team to the limits. Driving, David Higgins, and co-driver, Craig Drew overcame personal injuries, mechanic break-downs, and stiff competition for the hardest fought victory of their career. Top spot during the season was neck-and-neck going into the championship race. The decisive victory came down to the last day, down to the last few hours. Now, Higgins and the Subaru rally crew are back at work. The 2014 American Rally season is under way. Season two of launch control has already been full of surprises and held no shortage of rally action. Higgins has already claimed victory at the opening round, and Travis Pastrana has rejoined the Subaru rally team after a stint in NASCAR. Launch Control viewers will soon be able to see the next evolution of the Subaru Rally and Subaru Rallycross car.
The 2015 Subaru WRX STi will soon replace the 2014 WRX STi.
2015 Rallycross WRX STi was debuted at the 2014 New York Auto Show.
The 2015 Subaru WRX and WRX STi were both recently awarded an Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) 2014 TOP SAFETY PICK award for good performance in each of the Institute’s crashworthiness evaluations, including the small overlap front test.
