Meals Of Wheels Of Metro Tulsa Receives 1 of 50 Special 2018 Subaru Outbacks from Subaru

Subaru Of America celebrated its 50th anniversary by donating 50 specially wrapped, 2018 Subaru Outbacks to 50 Meals On Wheels organizations across the country. One of those 50 organizations was Meals Of Wheels of Metro Tulsa. Ferguson Subaru, located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, had the pleasure of presenting Meals Of Wheels of Metro Tulsa to their brand new Outback. 

Meals On Wheels of Metro Tulsa is one of two Meals On Wheels organizations in the state of Oklahoma; the other being Meals On Wheels of Norman. Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa provides nutritious meals and friendly, caring contact to elderly and disabled home bound individuals in communities throughout Northeast Oklahoma. Meals On Wheels of Metro Tulsa has distribution center in Tulsa, Bixby, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Owasso, and Sand Springs. They plan to open up distributions centers in Coweta and Sapulpa in the near future.

Ferguson Subaru used the special presentation to kick off this year's Subaru Share The Love Event. Now in its 10th year, the Subaru Share The Love Event has contributed over $115 million dollars to four national charities - Meals On Wheels being one of them - and over 660 hometown charities. The goal of the Subaru Share The Love Event is to simply have Subaru retailers, Subaru customers, and amazing charity partners come together to put a little love in the hearts of those in need.
