Tribeca's Replacement - The Next Large SUV from Subaru

There are many appealing qualities that can explain Subaru's success in America and Oklahoma. Two of the most notable include Subaru’s long-lasting value and symmetrical all-wheel drive. In fact, 96% of Subaru vehicles sold in the last 10 years are still on the road today, and Subaru has the best-selling all-wheel drive cars in America for the past 6 years!

Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel drive is standard on their entire line-up of vehicles, minus the BRZ. Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive continually keeps the power routed to all four wheels, ensuring an outstanding grip in snow, rain or rough road. It's one of the top reasons Tulsa area drivers are turning to Subaru.

While all these qualities are great, there's one thing that's been missing in Subaru's arsenal, for quite some time, and that is a large SUV. Not since Subaru discontinued the Tribeca has there been a Subaru vehicle that can fit up to seven passengers. We hear it all the time from our customers. They want a Subaru that can hold more people. After all, using Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel drive to explore the great outdoors is much funnier when you can bring along friends and family. Subaru recently unveiled a new concept that gives hope for such a vehicle!

In November, Subaru introduced the all-new Subaru VIZIV-7 SUV concept at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. The name gives away its biggest appeal, VIZIV-7; as in it can carry up to seven passengers! VIZIV is a name derived from Vision for Innovation. The VIZIV-7 concept has three-row seating, and gives us a prototype for the next large SUV from Subaru.

At the release of the Subaru VIZIV-7 SUV concept, Subaru promised a production version of the large SUV will be introduced to the North American market in early 2018. Subaru's corporate executive vice president, Takeshi Tachimori, stated “We know customers in this segment want a full-sized vehicle and the next 3-row from Subaru will be the biggest Subaru vehicle ever.”

So to our Tulsa-area shoppers, be patient. It won't be long before Ferguson Subaru will be able to offer a 7-passenger Subaru! The large SUV will undoubtedly be fitted with Subaru's all-important symmetrical all-wheel drive. Just imagine the possibilities!

All-new 2017 Subaru Impreza Heads to Oklahoma!

From the Hoosier state to the Sooner state, the 2017 Subaru Impreza is on its way! The first all-new 2017 Impreza rolled off the assembly line at Subaru's production plant in Indiana, Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. (SIA). There are many Subaru fans, including those at our dealership, who have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the all-new Impreza!

The new 2017 Subaru Impreza is the first vehicle built using the new Subaru Global Platform architecture that is designed to enhance driving pleasure, agility, comfort, and safety. The 2017 Impreza is equipped with new driver assist technology, and new multimedia features. As with previous generations, every Impreza is equipped standard with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and a SUBARU BOXER engine. The new '17 Impreza will be available in base, Premium, Sport and Limited trim lines, and is available in sedan and 5-door models.

Best of all, the new 2017 Impreza will be built, right here, in America! The Impreza has historically been produced only in Japan; however, Subaru decided to move the production of the Impreza to the U.S. because of increasing American demand for Subaru vehicles - like eight consecutive years of increased Subaru sales in the U.S!

“In a time when some manufacturers are moving work out of the United States, we’re proud to be bringing Subaru Impreza production to the heartland of America,” said Tom Easterday, Senior Executive Vice President of SIA. SIA is the first U.S. auto plant to achieve zero landfill. By reducing, reusing and recycling, SIA avoids sending any waste to a landfill for disposal.

It's roughly a ten hour drive from Subaru's Indiana plant to our Broken Arrow, Subaru dealership. While we know it won't make a straight shot to Broken Arrow, we can tell you that it is on its way! The 2017 Subaru Impreza is almost here!
