SUBARU EARNS ALG'S 2018 RESIDUAL VALUE AWARD FOR “TOP MAINSTREAM BRAND” & 5 SEGMENT WINNERS

Subaru has been honored for the sixth time with the “Top Mainstream Brand” Residual Value Award from ALG, the analytics division of TrueCar Inc. and the industry benchmark for projecting future vehicle values and depreciation data. The annual ALG Residual Value Awards honor the vehicles and brands that are expected to retain the highest percentage of their original price after a conventional three-year period.

Based on 2018 model year vehicles, ALG recognized 26 vehicles with segment awards. Winners are chosen through a careful analysis of each segment, historical vehicle performance and industry trends, while factoring in quality, production levels relative to demand, pricing and marketing strategies.

Subaru received the 2018 Top Mainstream Brand for Residual Value along with accolades on five individual vehicles topping their respective segments. Subaru's 2018 ALG segment award-winning models include:

2018 Subaru Outback – Best Midsize Utility Vehicle – 2 Row
2018 Subaru Crosstrek – Best Subcompact Utility Vehicle
2018 Subaru Forester – Best Compact Utility Vehicle
2018 Subaru WRX – Best Sports Car
2018 Subaru Impreza – Best Compact Car

Alan Bethke, senior vice president of Marketing, Subaru of America Inc. accepts the “Top Mainstream Brand” Residual Value Award from Jim Nguyen, president of ALG at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

“Consistent product execution and practical sales strategies have resulted in 3 consecutive years of Residual Value Award wins for the Subaru brand,” said Jim Nguyen, president of ALG.

With Subaru’s six awards this year, the overall total of ALG Residual Value Awards has increased to thirty-one since 2010. Subaru was also named Top Mainstream Brand in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016. These awards underscore Subaru's commitment to providing customers with vehicles made to the highest standards of dependability, reliability , and safety.

Ferguson Subaru Sponsors 8th Annual Ruts N' Guts

Ferguson Subaru was honored to sponsor the 8th annual, 2017 Ruts N' Guts.

2017 Ruts N' Guts
Ruts N' Guts is a weekend-long, professional off-road bicycling (or cyclocross) competition event. Ruts N' Guts draws cyclocross athletes from around the world, and has put Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on the map in the world of international cycling. As in years past, the 2017 Ruts N' Guts was held at Broken Arrow's Chisholm Trail Park; directly next to the Northeastern State University's Broken Arrow campus.

Many participants and spectators, who have attended the event in the past, might have noticed something a little different to this year's Ruts N' Guts. Ferguson Subaru was proud to sponsor a Subaru VIP parking section! The special VIP parking allowed any, and all, participants and spectators, who drive a Subaru, to park on the east side of the parking lot, closest to the race registration and course.

In an effort to encourage the up-and-coming youth of cyclocross, and also to give back to the community, Ruts N' Guts works closely with the Broken Arrow Bike Club. This year, after the race, Ruts N' Guts surprised the Broken Arrow Bike Club with a special visitor. Rebecca Gross, one of our Pro Elite Women racer that participated in Ruts N' Guts, surprised students at Rhoades Elementary. She hung out with the kids, gave them tips on how to ride, talked about what it's like being a pro cyclist, and signed autographs. Watch report by KJRH [video below].

In our eyes, this year's Ruts N' Guts was a huge success, both by the tremendous effort of the athletes who competed, but also by the efforts of the Ruts N' Guts organizers to give back to our community. Ferguson Subaru is proud to be a sponsor of Ruts N' Guts.
