2020 Legacy Named a 2020 Wards "10 Best User Experiences" Award Winner

The 2020 Subaru Legacy was named to the 2020 Wards "10 Best User Experiences" (UX) list for intuitive and effective interior features. The 2020 Legacy is the fourth consecutive Wards 10 Best UX winner for Subaru, following last year’s award-winning Outback, Ascent in 2018, and Impreza in 2017.

There were a total of 18 new vehicle nominees competing for the 2020 WardsAuto UX award. The vehicles were tested and rated by Wards editors on their ability to enhance an individual’s lifestyle and make technology easy to use. The accolade evaluates such vehicle technologies, such as: driver-assistance technologies, connectivity, voice controls, touchscreens, and overall user friendliness. The 2020 Subaru Legacy had the best-performing driver-assist technology in any vehicle evaluated.

With safety as a top priority, the new 2020 Subaru Legacy comes standard with award-winning Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology. Front and center, inside the Legacy, is an all-new tablet-style 11.6-inch high-resolution touchscreen, the largest, most advanced system ever in a Subaru. The 2020 Legacy is the only vehicle, in its segment, to feature all-wheel drive as standard equipment.

Being a winner of the 2020 Wards "10 Best User Experiences" (UX) award is a testament to Subaru's commitment to building reliable vehicles that come well-equipped with smart technologies and comfortable interiors. The 2020 Legacy is a top option for our Tulsa area shoppers, in the midsize sedan segment. Find your new Subaru Legacy at our Tulsa Metro Subaru dealership.

Ferguson Subaru More 2 Love Launch Event a Success

Community pride is a big deal in Green Country. Nowhere is community pride more on display then at a local Friday night high school football game. Simply attend a local Jenks, Bixby, Broken Arrow, Owasso, or Tulsa high school football game and the sense of community pride is palpable. Residents in our Green Country communities have built strong bonds and continually support one another. One thing we’ve seen in the thirteen years since we first opened our Subaru dealership and brought Subaru to Tulsa has been a similar sense of pride shared by our Subaru customers. There’s a new community found here in Green Country – a Subaru community.

Subaru owners love there Subaru’s. They enjoy going on adventures in their Subaru’s with friends whether to the dog park, a nearby camping site, or a local bike trail. Subaru owners enjoy hanging out with other Subaru owners. We see time and time again Subaru owners coming together, building life-long friendships, and growing this new Subaru community.

We love opening our doors for the Subaru community, and that’s exactly what we did last week. We opened the doors to our showroom for Subaru enthusiasts, Subaru owners, Subaru followers, and to the Subaru community. We welcomed anyone and everyone who wanted to get a first look at the new 2015 Subaru Legacy and 2015 Subaru Outback. No surprise, we had a great turnout and an even greater time!

It’s not hard to draw a crowd with great products like the new 2015 Subaru Outback and the new 2015 Subaru Legacy. During our Ferguson Subaru More 2 Love Launch Event we had the two models on display with our team of friendly, dedicated Subaru sales associates available for questions. Our Subaru team also provided free refreshments and treats. We had over a dozen Subaru fans come to our More 2 Love event. Attendants and our sales associates had a great time learning about the new Outback and Legacy.

The Subaru Legacy has been completely re-designed for 2015. The Legacy features the largest interior passenger volume in the midsize sedan segment and is the only car in its class with All-Wheel Drive as standard. While the 2015 Subaru Outback’s bold new design delivers an even more compelling blend of on-road agility, off-pavement control, ride comfort, interior refinement and safety technology.

Highly Anticipated 2015 Subaru Legacy Gets Great Reviews

“Live, love, laugh, leave a legacy.”
 - A quote from author and professional speaker, Stephen Covey

We believe this quote sums up Subaru of America's philosophy to a tee. Subaru owners are known for living life to the fullest and love to share their interests with others. Subaru is a company that celebrates life everyday - you only have to look at their Subaru Badges to find each Subaru driver's favorite lifestyle and hobby.

What's life without love? The second word in Covey's quote aligns so well with Subaru's philosophy, it shares a reciprocal feeling in Subaru's slogan, Love, It's What Makes A Subaru, A Subaru. And who can't resist a good laugh at Subaru's commercials following the four-legged, sedan-driving Barkley family? And then there's Legacy. That last word Covey mentions. What is a legacy? Legacy can be described as something that has been handed down from one generation to the next. Well, Subaru has that covered as well.

The Subaru Legacy was first introduced in 1989. While the midsize-sedan may not be Subaru's highest selling model (well behind Subaru's SUV & CUV line-up; the Subaru Outback, SubaruForester, and Subaru XV Crosstrek), the Subaru Legacy has been a major staple in Subaru's portfolio for more than a  quarter century - with great success we might add. 96% of Legacy models sold in the past 10 years are still on the road!

2015 Subaru Legacy

If you follow our blog, then you may be aware that we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 2015 Subaru Legacy. The 2015 Legacy will mark the sixth generation of the car. The Legacy has been completely redesigned and offers a compelling blend of standout design, interior refinement, safety technology and higher fuel efficiency.

If we could, we would love to give the engineers over at Subaru a fist bump. Because, while we might not have the Legacy yet at our Broken Arrow dealership, several industry leading vehicle review critics have had the opportunity of test driving the midsized sedan. And the consensus is coming in as expected - high praises all.

KBB - "The Legacy has always earned accolades for its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system, but now it's hardly a one-trick pony -- it's a real contender among midsize sedans." [1]

Autoblog.com - "....those would-be Camry buyers with a taste for something a little more unique will end up owning what we consider to be a better overall car." [2]

Autoweek - "Smooth, capable and fairly quick in 3.6-liter trim, the Legacy is now as mainstream as the rest of the midsize-sedan segment. Bundle that with the famous Subaru all-wheel drive and decent fuel economy, and the Legacy now has a chance to expand past its Northwest and New England enclaves." [3]

2015 Subaru Legacy

The 2015 Subaru Legacy will come in 4 trim levels. The 2015 Legacy 2.5i with an MSRP price at $21,695, the 2015 Legacy 2.5i Premium with an MSRP price at $23,495, the 2015 Legacy 2.5i Limited with an MSRP price at $26,495, and the flagship of the sedan line-up, the 2015 Legacy 3.6R Limited with a MSRP price starting at $29,595.

Models with the 4-cylinder engine are estimated to get up to 36 mpg, while the 6-cylinder models have an EPA estimated 29 mpg.

The 2015 Subaru Legacy 2.5i comes standard with Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with manual mode and paddle shift control switches and Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The 2.5 liter Boxer engine has increased to 175 horsepower.

The Legacy 2.5i Premium offers the industry’s leading driver assist technology, Subaru Eyesight®, and also adds Blind Spot Detection (BSD) with Lane Change Assist (LCA.) It uses radar detection to assist the driver by detecting vehicles on either side of the vehicle that may be in the driver’s blind spots.

The new Subaru Legacy will be built at the Subaru of Indiana Automotive Plant in Lafayette, Indiana . The Indiana assembly plant uses an environmentally-friendly plant process and is recognized as a zero landfill facility. It's the only U.S. automotive plant designated as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.
