 2019 Subaru Outback

Kelley Blue Book’s Best Resale Value Awards are based on projections from the Kelley Blue Book Official Residual Value Guide. Kelley Blue Book Residual Values are established by experienced automotive analysts that review statistical models built upon millions of transactions. Vehicles that earn the highest five-year residual values, expressed as a percentage of their original Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), are selected for these prestigious awards. These awards, like all the KBB.com new- and used-vehicle information, are designed to help consumers make more informed car-buying decisions.

The Outback earned its fourth win in its segment for KBB’s Best Resale Value Awards. The roomy Outback is a master of everyday versatility and outdoors-oriented activities. The 2019 Outback offers a wide range of innovative features, including: smart phone integration with Apple CarPlay™ and Android™ Auto, standard Subaru EyeSight, X-Mode with Hill Descent Control, 8.7-in. ground clearance, Active Torque Vectoring, and standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive.

The Legacy earned its fourth win in KBB’s Best Resale Value Awards. The Subaru Legacy remains the only model in its segment – the midsize sedan segment – to come standard with All-Wheel Drive. The combination of Subaru’s standard Active Torque Vectoring and acclaimed Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive give the Legacy confident grip in all weather conditions. Like the Outback, the Legacy also features EyeSight as standard equipment across all trim levels.

The Crosstrek is Subaru’s third-best-selling model. With available EyeSight Driver Assist Technology and standard Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, the Crosstrek is poised to remain atop the small SUV/crossover segment. The Subaru Crosstrek has no problem clearing any type of terrain, with 8.7 inches of ground clearance.

These awards reinforce Subaru’s commitment to providing customers with vehicles made to the highest standards of value, dependability, reliability, and safety.

3-Row Ascent Earns Top Safety Honors

2019 Subaru Ascent

Safety is paramount to Subaru. When designing the all-new 2019 Ascent - the largest and most versatile Subaru ever - Subaru was committed to making sure its safety capabilities would meet the highest standards. Now, that commitment has been affirmed. The 2019 Subaru Ascent has been awarded top safety honors. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the Ascent a 2018 Top Safety Pick+ with Steering Responsive Headlights.

IIHS assesses a vehicle's crashworthiness with six tests: moderate overlap front, driver-side small overlap front, (new) passenger-side small overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraints & seats. According to IIHS, "The Ascent earns good crashworthiness ratings across the board and comes with standard, superior-rated front crash prevention." [1]

To earn the IIHS 2018 TOP SAFETY PICK+, a vehicle must receive a “Good” rating for five tests of high-speed front and side crash tests, a rollover test, and evaluations of seat/head restraints for protection against neck injuries in rear impacts. New for 2018, the passenger side small overlap crash was added to the evaluations and a vehicle must also receive a “Good” or “Acceptable” rating.

Standard 180-Degree Front Camera

The Ascent is designed to give you peace of mind when you're behind the wheel. The Ascent is built upon Subaru's strongest foundation yet - the Subaru Global Platform - in addition to offering some of the most advanced active safety systems. Plus, new features such as the Smart Rear-View Mirror and 180-Degree Front Camera enhance visibility. And, advanced lighting technology, including the available LED Steering Responsive Headlights with High Beam Assist, helps make nighttime driving even safer.
