SUBARU TAKES TOP HONOR IN 2021 ALG RESIDUAL VALUE AWARDS

Subaru has been named the 2021 Top Mainstream Brand for Residual Value from the ALG Residual Value Awards. ALG, the analytics division of TrueCar Inc., serves as the industry benchmark for forecasting vehicle values and depreciation data. With the latest award, Subaru is a five-time top brand for residual value, having taken home the honor in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and now 2021.

In addition to the Residual Value Award honor, four Subaru models received top recognition in their respective segments.

Subaru has a proven track record when it comes to industry-leading residual values and the brand has shown consumers that their strong vehicle line-up is supported by vehicles that hold their value,” said Eric Lyman, Chief Industry Analyst at ALG. [1]

The ALG Residual Value Awards recognized vehicles in 29 segments predicted to maintain the highest percentage of the Manufacturers’ Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) after three years. Alongside vehicle accolades, ALG selected two brands for overall Mainstream and Premium industry sectors. Based on the 2021 model year, selected winners are determined after ALG utilizes a forecast model that looks at various macro, industry, segment, and vehicle factors.

Time and again, car-buyers choose Subaru for the value, reliability, and safety that each vehicle promises. Customers know they can count on Subaru vehicles to last through the seasons of their lives. Winning the Top Brand for Residual Value Award, for a fifth year, is a testament to the love and care Subaru puts into building their cars.

Subaru Reveals Glimpse Into the Future with Impreza Sedan Concept

Many of the brands we carry at Ferguson Superstore revealed some attractive new products and concept cars at the 2015 Los Angeles auto show; from Buick's all-new 2017 LaCrosse to Kia's turquoise Optima convertible concept. But, there was one concept car we couldn't get out of our minds - Subaru's Impreza Sedan concept car. Ferguson's Stephen Hill was live at the Los Angeles Auto Show to capture a picture of the impressive sport sedan [below].

From the front-end hawk-eye headlights, along the sharp character line that runs the length of the car, to the sleek new trunk lid on the rear of the sporty sedan; the Subaru Impreza Sedan concept is quite appealing to look at. And, how can you not love that energetic Ruby Red Metallic paint color?

The all-new Subaru Impreza will be the first example of Subaru's next-generation vehicles using a new modular platform. The design is sportier and less angular than the previous generation Impreza, but with a powerful stance expressing Subaru’s new Dynamic x Solid design language. The new design direction hints at not only the new Impreza design, but of Subaru’s future models.

Ferguson Subaru is Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma's premier Subaru dealership. We carry all new Subaru sedans and crossovers, like the Subaru Impreza and the Subaru Forester. Check out our selection of new and used Subarus at www.FergusonSubaru.com

3 NEW SUBARU MOVELS TAKE TOP HONORS IN KBB 2015 BEST RESALE VALUE AWARDS

How will your life look 5 years from now? If you're anything like us, it's difficult to say. Have you ever created a one year plan? You started out with a clear road map to stick to, but end up taking unexpected turns into uncharted territory- not where you originally planned to end up. So, how are we expected to know what's in store for us 5 years out?

What if you told you, there's one thing you can count on. That’s, confidence - confidence in purchasing a new Subaru. Subaru recently earned the coveted Best Resale Value Brand by Kelley Blue Book in Three Vehicle Segment Awards for 2015. The Best Resale Value Awards recognize 2015 model-year vehicles for their projected retained value through the initial five-year ownership period. Like all of KBB.com’s new- and used-vehicle information, this award is designed to help consumers make more informed car-buying decisions.

Winning this achievement gives Ferguson Subaru customers a clear indication that if they were to purchase a new Subaru today, they'd still be smiling 5 years down the road; smiling with confidence that their Subaru has maintained its value through the years.

The three Subaru models that took home the 2015 Best Resale Value Award include the following in their respected segment:

  • Compact Car Category: 2015 Subaru Impreza
  • Sporty Compact Car Category: 2015 Subaru WRX
  • Mid-Size Car Category: 2015 Subaru Legacy

Here at the Ferguson Subaru, we stand behind every vehicle we sell new or used. Stop in to our showroom located at 1501 N. Elm Place Broken Arrow, OK, to take a test drive and learn more about any one of the award-winning vehicles we have in stock.

Subaru Impreza Challenges Pro Motocross Freestyler, Cam Sinclair

What happens when you drop off professional freestyle motocross, X Games Champion Cam Sinclair along with a Subaru WRX STi into a 10,000 acre playground? Well, that's exactly what Top Gear has done! Top Gear set out to test Subaru's claim that "the WRX STi drives like a sports car over virtually any terrain." So, Top Gear's Tanner Fous decided to race down Eagle Mount mine, dash through a industrial area, and maneuver through an old ghost down in a Subaru WRX STi, all-the-while being contested by Cam Sinclair and his Yamaha YZ250 dirt bike. The end result was a lot of dirt kicked up, some big air - from both machines, and some great action-packed footage. Check out the clip below.

As you can see, not only does the Impreza, with it's 305 Horsepower, make for a fun day off, but more importantly as Fous puts it, "
The Impreza is more than capable of living up to it's reputation as an all terrain car."

The high-performance of an intercooled turbocharged 265-horsepower engine is standard on the 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX, while the WRX STI turns up the boost to deliver a full 305 horsepower.

Subaru recently has the world talking, with the release of the 2015 WRX STi. The new 2015 WRX STi only builds upon its predecessor. The 2015 WRX STI debuts a new four-door wide-body design and is powered by the legendary 305-horwepower 2.5-liter turbocharged BOXER engine. Handling is enhanced with firmer springs, faster steering, and a stiffer chassis. It's also fitted with a "driver-focused interior", with a motorsports-inspired flat-bottom steering wheel and new whiplash-reducing performance-design front seats.

If you'd like to take a closer look at the 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX or the 2015 Subaru WRX STi, visit Ferguson Subaru in Broken Arrow, OK. A member of our staff will happily highlight all of the comprehensive features found on all Subaru models, and set you up behind the wheel with a test drive.
