Subaru Legacy and Subaru Outback Win Consecutive Vincentric Best CPO Value in America™ Awards

It's no secret that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant shifts in people's spending habits. That fact is just as true in the automotive industry. As David Wurster, Vincentric President, puts it, "“Many people in the U.S. are being impacted by the current economic uncertainty and are looking to save money by purchasing used vehicles." [1] Here at Ferguson Subaru, serving the Greater Tulsa Metro, we've seen our used car shoppers grow in numbers, since the start of the pandemic.

Mr. Wurster goes on to say, "Consumers looking to buy a certified pre-owned vehicle want to know that their choice will give them the value they need for their money. Our [Vincentric] awards can guide consumers and help them make decisions with confidence, especially with so many brands showing strong CPO value by winning Best CPO Value brand awards on a consistent basis.” [1]

Subaru is one of those brands who have proven their strong CPO value by consistently winning Vincentric Best CPO Value in America™ awards. In the 2021 Vincentric Best CPO Value in America™ awards, both the Subaru Legacy and Subaru Outback have retained their crowns, in their respected segments. For the second consecutive year, the Subaru Legacy received the award in the Mid-Size segment; while the Subaru Outback earned the top spot in the Mid-Size SUV/Crossover segment, for its fourth consecutive year.

Vincentric, LLC is a privately held automotive data compilation and analysis firm headquartered in Bingham Farms, Michigan. Vincentric provides data, knowledge, and insight to the automotive industry by identifying and applying the many aspects of automotive value. [1] To determine the 2021 Vincentric Best CPO Value in America™ Award winners, Vincentric conducted a statistical analysis to reveal which vehicles had lower than expected ownership costs given their market segment and price. Vincentric analyzed over 15,000 vehicle configurations using eight cost factors: depreciation, fees & taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity cost, and repairs. [1]

Lower operating, insurance, and maintenance costs (compared to their respected segment competition) have all been contributing factors in both the Subaru Legacy's and the Subaru Outback's continued success in the Vincentric Best CPO Value in America™ awards.

Consumers looking to purchase a CPO vehicle have added benefits when it comes to Subaru CPO vehicles. Every Certified Pre-Owned Subaru gets a 152-point safety inspection and comes with a factory-backed 7-year/100,000-mile powertrain (from original warranty start date). All the benefits Subaru puts into their CPO package are all there to assure consumers that their vehicles are built to last. In fact, 97% of Subaru vehicles sold in the last 10 years are still on the road today.

Ferguson Subaru has dozen of quality Certified Pre-Owned Subaru models to choose from, including Certified Pre-Owned Subaru Legacy and Certified Pre-Owned Subaru Outback models. Best Vehicle For Tulsa Families, the Subaru Outback

Tulsa families are busy. Whether mom and dad are hauling the family to Soccer City Tulsa, driving over to the park for Tulsa Little League baseball practice, or simply waiting in school drop-off lines; the average Tulsa family spends a significant amount of time in the confines of the family vehicle.

With so much time spent inside the family vehicle, it's important to have a vehicle that fits every varying need of the on-the-go, city living lifestyle. Roominess, comfortability, price, and versatility are characteristics usually found on the top of our Tulsa families' lists. For many Tulsa families, the perfect vehicle for the job is the Subaru Outback!

2017 Subaru Outback

The industry's top critics have also taken note of the Outback's advantage as the family vehicle.

The 2017 Subaru Outback recently won U.S. News & World Report’s Best Wagon for Families for the sixth year in a row as part of their 2017 Best Cars for Families awards. U.S. News & World Report praised the Outback stating, "The 2017 Subaru Outback has class-leading cargo capacity, excellent passenger space, and a well-built and durable cabin that make it a good fit for families on the go."

The Subaru Outback also earned a spot on KBB.com's 2017 "12 Best Family Cars" list. The Subaru Outback is a multi-year KBB "Best Family Car award winner." KBB.com's editors had the following to say about why the Subaru Outback continues to make it on the top of their list, "The 2017 Subaru Outback is among the most practical, sensible and versatile vehicles money can buy. Many ingredients go into this Subaru's secret sauce, from its standard all-wheel drive to its fuel efficiency, advanced safety features and stellar resale value. Each is impressive on its own. Combined, they make the Outback a standout."

For 2017, Subaru introduced a new flagship model with Outback Touring. The legendary crossover stands out with an exclusive, eye-catching Brilliant Brown exterior color. Additional defining features include: unique Outback badging, low-profile roof rails in a silver finish along with lower cladding, 18" wheels with a machined finish and dark gray accents, and a Touring-specific dark gray grille. TBRO is a 501(c)3 non-profit; volunteer ran organization committed to rescuing unwanted and abandoned purebred Boxers in the state of Oklahoma. Don't Let Winter Win, Drive A Subaru

Snowmageddon or snowzilla, whatever you prefer to call it, has unleashed its fury on the eastern half of the country. The snowstorm caused dozens of flight cancellations, dumped over 26 inches of snow in New York City, and had many drivers saying, "I wish I was in a Subaru!"

Why a Subaru? Because, Subaru sedans and SUVs provide the ultimate performance in snowy condition. In fact, in a reason survey conducted by Consumer Reports' three Subaru vehicles claimed the top three spots when rating SUV and wagon performance in snow; sweeping the competition. In the survey, the Outback took first place, the XV Crosstrek claimed second, and the Forester walked away with the bronze model; beating out other SUVs like the Audi Q5, Jeep Wrangler, and Toyota 4Runner. View the rest of the survey results here: http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2015/09/survey-rates-suv-and-wagon-performance-in-snow/index.htm

Why are Subaru vehicles superior in snowy conditions? One reason is because every Subaru is fitted with Subaru's famous Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive continually keeps the power routed to all four wheels, ensuring outstanding grip in snow, rain, or rough terrain. Subaru's Symmetrical All Wheel Drive simply provides better traction, control and stability than other sedans and SUVs.

Snowzilla might have spared Oklahoma and the Greater Tulsa Metro this time around; however, we're not out of the woods yet. Old man winter still has plenty of time to unleash a wintery mix of snow and ice. Stay prepared! In a new Subaru, from Ferguson Subaru, you'll have complete confidence and peace-of-mind, in the event Snowmageddon II decides to make a stop in Tulsa.

Billionaire, Warren Buffett, seen driving a Subaru

Warren Buffett who has many nicknames, "Wizard of Omaha", "Oracle of Omaha", or the "Sage of Omaha," - all with a references to his origins in Omaha, Nebraska, is well known as one of the wealthiest man alive. In 2012, Time Magazine named Buffett one of the most influential people in the world. Although Buffett is known to be one of the super-rich, he's also known for his philanthropy efforts. He's pledged to give away 99% of his fortune to philanthropic causes. He's not the type of man that parades around his wealth. But he is the type of man that drives a Subaru.

In a recent article by AutoEvolution, Warren Buffett is seen driving a red Subaru Outback.

The article goes on to say that, "The funny thing is Buffett is actually one of Ford’s share holders, which means he is driving a competitor's new model. In fact, he recently called the Subaru Outback a "real threat" to one of his favorite businesses."
