Subaru Reveals Glimpse Into the Future with Impreza Sedan Concept

Many of the brands we carry at Ferguson Superstore revealed some attractive new products and concept cars at the 2015 Los Angeles auto show; from Buick's all-new 2017 LaCrosse to Kia's turquoise Optima convertible concept. But, there was one concept car we couldn't get out of our minds - Subaru's Impreza Sedan concept car. Ferguson's Stephen Hill was live at the Los Angeles Auto Show to capture a picture of the impressive sport sedan [below].

From the front-end hawk-eye headlights, along the sharp character line that runs the length of the car, to the sleek new trunk lid on the rear of the sporty sedan; the Subaru Impreza Sedan concept is quite appealing to look at. And, how can you not love that energetic Ruby Red Metallic paint color?

The all-new Subaru Impreza will be the first example of Subaru's next-generation vehicles using a new modular platform. The design is sportier and less angular than the previous generation Impreza, but with a powerful stance expressing Subaru’s new Dynamic x Solid design language. The new design direction hints at not only the new Impreza design, but of Subaru’s future models.

Ferguson Subaru is Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma's premier Subaru dealership. We carry all new Subaru sedans and crossovers, like the Subaru Impreza and the Subaru Forester. Check out our selection of new and used Subarus at www.FergusonSubaru.com

Subaru Announces New Third-Row Crossover In The Works

According to the 2010 U.S. Census, there are 246,290 families in the Tulsa Metro. One thing we know is important for these families when purchasing a new vehicle is accommodation. A family vehicle needs to be able to accommodate varying passenger needs and the needs of each individual family member. Whether it’s accommodating infants who need to be within easy reach, or accommodating fully grown adults wanting as much legroom as possible; accommodation is a must for any family vehicle.

Subaru’s retired 3-row crossover model, the Subaru Tribeca, fit that bill nicely. Unfortunately, Subaru halted production of the Tribeca back in 2014. However, we’ve got some exciting news our Tulsa area families are going to want to hear – Subaru has announced plans to replace the Tribeca and put a new third-row crossover into its lineup!

That’s good news for Tulsa area families or anyone in Oklahoma who needs a vehicle with third-row capability. There’s just one slight catch, we’re going to have to wait until 2018 to be able to bring the new Subaru to our Broken Arrow dealership.

What do we know about Subaru’s new planned third-row crossover? Not a lot, but we know it will be larger than the Tribeca; which translates to more accommodating capability. We know it won’t be called the Tribeca. Subaru hasn’t released the name of their new Tribeca-replacing third row crossover, but for now we’ll just call it the 2018 Hurry-up-and-Get-Here Subaru. It will likely carry a name synonymous with outdoor adventure, consistent with the company’s other successful crossovers; the Subaru Outback, Subaru Forester and Subaru Crosstrek. And last, but not least, we know it’s a Subaru,  and Subaru vehicles are known for long-lasting reliability.

The Tribeca adapted well to Oklahoma life. It was a beloved option for our Tulsa area families, and it has been missed at our Broken Arrow Subaru dealership. A significant number of our customers come in asking for a vehicle with third row capability. That’s why we’re excited about Subaru’s plan for a new third-row crossover. We expect the new vehicle to pick up where the Tribeca left off and do quite well here in the Tulsa Metro.

We’ll release more information about the new crossover as soon as Subaru makes another announcement of the vehicle. For now, stay tuned to our Subaru blog and our Facebook page to get the latest Subaru news and updates. Check out our new Subaru inventory online at www.FergusonSubaru.com.
