Ferguson Subaru Donates to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma

Ferguson Subaru is donating $22,500 to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, in an effort to eliminate hunger in Oklahoma.

For 40 years, the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma has been fighting hunger, and feeding hope. The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma was founded in 1981 by Dan Allen. The food bank has grown to become the largest private hunger-relief organization in eastern Oklahoma; serving 350 Partner Agencies throughout the 24 counties of eastern Oklahoma.

When the COVID-19 pandemic first hit, Ferguson Subaru stepped in and joined Subaru of America to help donate 50 million meals to Feeding America, and in-turn, to millions of Americans who cannot access food for themselves or their families.

After the initial 50 million meal commitment, Subaru of America and Ferguson Subaru doubled down and committed to making an additional 100 million meal donation. Ferguson Subaru's donation of $22,500, to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, is one result this second commitment.

Ferguson Subaru is proud to be a part of Subaru of America's Feeding America COVID-19 initiative. We're honored to have the opportunity to make a donation to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. It's all part of our Subaru Love Promise. The Subaru Love Promise is our vision of respecting all people. This is our commitment to show love and respect to our customers and to work to make a positive impact in the world.
