2015 Subaru Legacy Revealed

It’s easy for us here at Ferguson Subaru to continually satisfy the needs of drivers in the Tulsa Metro, when we have such incredible, well-built automobiles at our dealership; such as MotorTrend’s “2014 Sport/Utility Vehicle of the Year” – the 2014 Subaru Forester, and the go-anywhere 2014 Subaru Outback. Our new and used Subaru's are blowing their Honda, or Toyota counterparts out of the water. And yet, Subaru continues to push the envelope with new and more innovating sedans and crossovers. Last week Subaru of America introduced the all-new 2015 Legacy at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show.

The 2015 Legacy takes several design cues from Subaru’s Legacy Concept revealed at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The production model combines efficient functioning and a sporty form. A “nosecone” front section smoothly combines the grille and bumper to create a sleeker design and coup-like profile. The 2015 Legacy will come standard with a rear-view camera, which is located closer to the center of the car for more natural imaging.

Still the only car in its class to come standard with All-Wheel Drive, the 2015 Legacy models will be equipped with a newly refined version of the Active Torque Split version of Symmetrical AWD. An electronically managed continuously variable transfer clutch actively controls torque distribution in response to driving conditions and wheel slippage.

Offering a choice of 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder BOXER engines, the 2015 Subaru Legacy comes standard with Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission). With estimated ratings of 26 mpg city / 36 mpg highway / 30 mpg combined, the 2015 Legacy 2.5i matches or exceeds fuel economy of some midsize models that come only with front-wheel drive. The 6-cylinder model also sees fuel economy improve by 10 percent or more, with new estimated ratings of 20 mpg city / 28 mpg highway / 23 combined. A new aluminum hood reduces weight over the front wheels, helping to improve gas mileage and enhancing steering response.

The new 2015 Legacy will arrive at our Oklahoma Subaru dealership this summer. Go to our webstie at www.FergusonSubaru.com/2015-Subaru-Legacy to find out more information about the new Subaru sedan. You can always give us a call at 918-258-1800. Or stop by our dealership and test drive its predecessor the 2014 Subaru Legacy.
